IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER!! We have extended the registration period for the 2009 season. Please download our Registration Forms and mail them along with your payment to PO Box 344, Cool, CA, 95614.

All funds are due by the first day of practice. If you cannot afford the entire registration at this time, please e:mail us to make payment arrangements. Contact us at info@goldensierrajrgrizzlies.org with any questions!

We are now offering a sponsorship drive to help reduce the cost of the season for you. Check the link to "2009 Registration Info" at the top left of this page for more information.

UPCOMING EVENTS - MARK YOUR CALENDARS

Physical/Medical Clearance required prior to 1st day of Practice Aug 3rd
All participants (Both Football & Cheer) must have a signed authorization from a Doctor, dated after 4/15/09, to participate. Acceptable forms of Authorization are:
1. Completion of the “Medical Clearance Examination form” included with the registration packet.
2. A signed note from your doctor on his/her prescription pad or office stationary.
3. A copy of a completed physical form supplied by your doctor.
We are in the process of trying to find a doctor to offer some local clinics in July. Please check your e-mail and the GDRD Partners Post for dates coming soon…

FREE Mandatory UCA Cheer Clinic June 15 @ Squaw Valley
Please join us for this FANTASTIC opportunity to get FREE professional dance and basic stunting instruction from the United Cheer Association (UCA). Carpools to meet at the Holiday Market Parking lot by 9:30AM daily & return by 7PM daily. You’ll need to make arrangements with someone to carpool if you cannot drive your cheerleader. (GSJG cannot do this for you)

GSHS Cheer Clinic June 23 - 26th
The Golden Sierra High School Cheerleaders will be teaching 12 sideline cheers during this 4 day clinic. Cost $35 each (you do not have to be a Jr. Grizzlies Cheerleader to participate).

GSHS Football Skills Clinic July 20 – 23rd
Presented by GSHS Head Football Coach Terry Cox
All children ages 5-14 are invited to the GSHS football skills clinic.
Jr Grizzlies players are strongly encouraged to participate.
This NO TOUCH clinic will focus on basic football skills and game fundamentals including, passing, kicking, running plays, and drills. Register through the GDRD at www.gdrd.org or by calling 530.823.9090. Cost $35.00 each (you do not have to be a Jr. Grizzlies Cheerleader to participate).

August 22nd JAMBOREE @ Folsom High School

Aug 29th FIRST HOME GAME

Oct 4th Mandatory Cheer Showcase @ Rio Linda HS all day
