It looks like we'll end up with three cheer squads divided by age (6-8's, 9-11's, 12-14's). If we grow to 40 girls registered we'll break out to 4 squads of 10**

Cheer Club Starts May 8th!
Practices will be held Thursdays May, June, July at the Garden Valley Park from 6-8pm. We hope to see you there! Come join the Golden Sierra High School Cheerleaders Thursdays May through July! Our volunteer High School Cheer Instructors will be teaching you 12 sideline cheers during this 12 week club. Practice Dates are Thursday’s: § May 8, 15, 22, 29 § June 5, 12, 19, 26 § July 10, 17, 24, 30 Cost $30 per participant (you do not have to be a Jr. Grizzlies Cheerleader to participate). Please register through the GDRD at www.gdrd.org or by calling 530.823.9090 Fee includes a healthy snack & water at each practice. |

2008 Season Practice Locations Confirmed
August 4 through September 11th Football and *Cheer Practices will be held at the BOMUSD District Field in Georgetown. August = 5 days per week, M-F for Football (6-8pm) August = 3 days per week, T, W, TH for Cheer (6-8pm) September = 3 days per week, T, W, TH for both Football & Cheer (6-8pm) September 16th through November 6th Football and *Cheer Practices will be held at the Golden Sierra High School Football Field. Sept – Nov = 3 days per week, T, W, TH (6-8pm) § Bad weather/rainy day cheer practices will be at the Bailey House Barn in Pilot Hill. § Players & Cheerleaders will be notified via e:mail at least 1 hr prior to the scheduled event if any dates are rained out or location changes must occur. § Home Game Dates have not yet been assigned, but will be held at Golden Sierra High School. |
